Morgonstjärnan – The Morning Star: how the opera’s music was born
Welcome to our three-part mini documentary, which follows the making of the opera world premiere Morgonstjärnan – The Morning Star.
In the first part, we will discover more about the opera’s composing process and music with composer Sebastian Fagerlund, as well as hear about the composer’s collaboration with the soloists.
The video will also showcase music from the opera, sung by Helena Juntunen and played by the Finnish National Opera Orchestra conducted by Hannu Lintu, for example. By the end, we will find out how the light of the morning star is depicted in the music.
