Spotlight on Eugene Onegin
The story of Eugene Onegin is based on Alexander Pushkin’s eponymous poetic work, and the opera premiered in 1879. The direction, set design, and lighting are by Swiss director Marco Arturo Marelli, whose interpretation of Eugene Onegin focuses on longing and the fervor of young emotions.
