Your safety is important to us

Welcome to the Finnish National Opera and Ballet! We are taking the safety recommendations to mitigate the coronavirus pandemic extremely seriously. Our personnel have been trained accordingly.

We currently only sell 50% of our seats for performances in order to ensure sufficient social distancing for all visitors. This means every other seat will be empty, but those in the same party can choose to sit together at Main Stage performances. At Almi Hall, every other seat will be kept empty. You can see the updated map of the auditorium for each performance in our online store when buying tickets.

Face masks are mandatory for every adult visiting the Opera House, unless they have a health condition preventing them from doing so. For safety reasons, we kindly ask that you bring a face mask with you. However, masks are available from our personnel if necessary. All our lobby personnel wear either a face mask or a face shield at all times.

You will find all the latest information for staying safe at the Opera House on this page. These important instructions and restrictions are valid until further notice.

Thank you for following the new safety measures with us. This enables everyone to enjoy Finnish National Opera and Ballet performances in a safe environment, now and in the future.

Please stay home if you have symptoms

You can cancel your tickets and refreshments as late as 7 hours before the performance starts. Their value will be credited to your customer account and remains valid for any performance until end of spring 2022.
