Urkuyö & Aaria: Masters and new voices – a Finnish National Opera gala
The charm of opera at Tapiola Church
On an August evening, the audience is treated to some of the most cherished opera arias by Giuseppe Verdi, W. A. Mozart, Gaetano Donizetti and others.
The Finnish National Opera’s acclaimed soloists, tenor Mika Pohjonen and bass Koit Soasepp, are joined by the emerging talents of the Finnish National Opera’s Young Singers’ Programme: sopranos Anna Barletta and Hanna Juntunen, mezzosopranos Sarah Zieba and Laura Pörsti and tenors Jere Hölttä and Otso Sipilä. The Orchestra of the Finnish National Opera will be led by the rising conductor Mikael Loponen.
The concert is part of the Urkuyö & Aaria Festival. Tickets are sold in the festival’s web service.
