The Orchestra of the Finnish National Opera

Finland’s largest orchestra

The Orchestra of the Finnish National Opera (FNO), the largest orchestra in Finland, comprises 111 musicians of 15 different nationalities. In addition to its principal task of performing in opera and ballet productions, it also holds its own regular concerts. The Orchestra of the FNO celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2023.
