New perspectives on art
The Finnish National Opera and Ballet’s Participation programme offers a range of free events that explore the themes and background of our productions in greater depth. Opera calling aims to inspire, surprise and present works from unexpected perspectives.
During the 2026–2027 season, Opera calling will focus on the operas Aida (19 Sep), The (R)evolution of Steve Jobs (3 Oct), The Handmaid’s Tale (10 Apr) and Maria Stuarda (15 May). More detailed information about the events will be published on this page at a later date.
