Cheerful and colourful mini opera

Help! Rosina is in trouble! She likes the Count, but Bartolo wants her to marry himself instead. Who could help? Figaro, of course! What follows next is half an hour of speed and surprising twists, accompanied by Rossini’s cheerful music. The numerous roles of the mini opera are interpreted by two skillful singers, and the colorful orchestral sound is created by two musicians. This performance is suitable for everyone over the age of two.

The Barber of Seville is performed in Swedish. Performances are produced with support from foundation Konstsamfundet.

The audience is invited to join in: everyone is doing a lot of things in these productions, with soloists in multiple roles, and the musicians are not always what they seem.

enrolment FOR DAYCARE GROUPS

Enrolment for daycare groups will begin 24 March via online registration form. Link to the form will be published on this page. Enrolment will end 31 March.

As part of our co-operation with the municipalities of the Helsinki Metropolitan Area, we offer local daycare groups the chance to participate in our Mini Opera free of charge. For daycare groups from outside the area there are some free places too. Please enrol for the performances in advance. We do not sell tickets to these performances. Participants for the audience are selected taking into account first-time participants and municipal co-operation.
