EXPERIENCE BALLET!
Ballet goes to school
EXPERIENCE BALLET! is an interactive workshop for students in grades 5–9 that opens a window into the world of ballet. Pupils and staff alike can experience the atmosphere of a Finnish National Ballet performance in their own school.
The workshop includes a short ballet performance, a movement session and the creation of a short piece inspired and guided by professional dancers. Every participant will discover what happens behind the scenes in ballet and find their own ways of telling stories through movement.
The workshop is free of charge for schools. The next workshops will be held in October and November 2026. The application period for the workshops will begin in the autumn. More detailed scheduling information will be provided on this page at a later date.
