On performance days, the Opera shop is open until the end of the 1st interval. If there is no interval, the shop closes when the performance starts.

Seasonal theme products
The Opera Shop has a fascinating range of opera and ballet related products, which are not available anywhere else. The selection is renewed every season. The much-awaited Ring cycle is featured at the Opera Shop, with a selection of stylish T-shirts and canvas shopping bags with the Ring logo.
Postcards
It is never a bad idea to remember a friend by sending a postcard. Or adding to your own postcard collection. The extensive selection in the Opera Shop contains postcards from various eras, featuring the Opera House and opera and ballet productions.
Pumps for ballet fans
A real fan will want to obtain a pair of ballet pumps with dancers’ autographs. The selection of products may vary depending on availability.
Books and programme booklets
You need never leave it to the night of the performance to buy a programme booklet; you can get it at the Opera Shop whenever you like. The shop also carries a selection of books on opera and ballet. Don’t forget to seek out the Finnish National Opera and Ballet’s centenary publication.
Recordings galore
Passionate opera fans will find a collection of DVD and CD recordings of opera music from around the world at the Opera Shop. These include Finnish opera themed recordings from recent years, too. Get yours quickly, as stock is running out fast!
Ballet 100 centenary stamps
The Anniversaries on Stage stamps are a new addition to the Opera Shop selection in autumn 2022. The centenary of the Finnish National Ballet and the 150th anniversary of the National Theatre are marked with the launch of new stamps. The five stamps of the Finnish National Ballet feature pictorial memories of Swan Lake, The Little Mermaid, COW, The Nutcracker and the Mouse King, and The Sleeping Beauty. The cost of a sheet of stamps is €19.50.
