Partnership with Varma since 1984
Varma Mutual Pension Insurance Company is a main partner of the Finnish National Opera and Ballet. The long-standing partnership was established in 1984.
The collaboration enables Varma to support Finnish culture and make the world of opera and ballet accessible to as many people as possible.
The partnership focuses on organising customer events. Varma’s most important customer event is held at the Opera House.
Co-creating content with Helsingin Sanomat
The partnership with Helsingin Sanomat comprises, for example, broad-based marketing collaboration, enchanting stakeholder events, and national broadcasting of opera and ballet performances and content on the HSTV online video service.
Extensive collaboration with Stockmann
The Finnish National Opera and Ballet launched its own ticket sales system and online store in 2018. At the same time, a wide-ranging customer service, ticket sales and marketing partnership was established with Stockmann department stores. This collaboration made Stockmann one of the main partners of the FNOB. In return, as a unique cultural institution, the FNOB enjoys a strong partner relationship with Stockmann’s Loyal Customers.
Evli Bank delivers powerful experiences with the FNOB
Evli Bank, which specialises in investments, started co-operation with the Finnish National Opera and Ballet at the start of 2018. Kalevala Jewelry partnership tailored for The Land of Kalevala
Kalevala Jewelry was the partner of the Finnish National Opera and Ballet for The Land of Kalevala, which saw its world premiere in November 2017. The company launched a special necklace inspired by the ballet. Designed by Design Director Kirsti Doukas, the necklace is a statement about the importance of perseverance and inner strength.
Finnair as the FNB’s partner on Japan tour
Finnair was the Finnish National Ballet’s partner on the ballet company’s tour of Japan in spring 2017. For Finnair, this partnership offered a fresh way to market Europe and Finland to Japanese consumers. Both Finnair and the Finnish National Ballet stand for high quality, internationality, and Nordic exoticism.
The gala repertoire of the visit to Japan included the world premiere of the Moomin and the Magician’s Hat ballet, along with excerpts from classic ballets.
