A Midsummer Night's Dream

“One of our key goals is to increase well-being”

“The guest performances of the National Opera and Ballet around Finland, operas featuring school children, and live performances bring the art world within reach of all Finns. It is also worth noting that the National Opera is a diverse employer. The partnership also offers us interesting potential to develop working life together with the makers of creative work,” says Ville-Veikko Laukkanen, Varma’s Executive Vice President.

Land of Kalevala

A new necklace from Kalevala Jewellery inspired by Land of Kalevala

Kalevala Jewellery has designed a new necklace inspired by Kenneth Greve’s Land of Kalevala that premiered in November 2017. The piece of jewellery is a statement underlining the importance of persistence and inner strength. The necklace is designed by Design Director Kirsti Doukas.

“Kalevala Jewelry and The Land of Kalevala share the same foundation of Finnish themes, so this partnership is an excellent fit. This modern work dovetails well with our forward-looking business,” says Riitta Huuhtanen, Managing Director of Kalevala Jewelry.
