Free culture delights for all ages

The popular Opera Teatime Dance takes place on the first or second Wednesday of every month in the Main Foyer of the Opera House. Please check the calendar for the exact schedule. The music is provided by different ensembles and soloists. You can also watch a live broadcast of the Teatime Dance via our Stage24 service.

The Music in the Foyer concert series presents favourite pieces of music performed by the orchestra musicians or singers of the Finnish National Opera. The concerts are scheduled for Saturday afternoons. The repertoire and performers for each performance are announced during the week leading up to the event on the concert page.

The Open House event at the Finnish National Opera and Ballet offers a wealth of things to see, hear and experience for children and adults alike.
