Enjoy dinner at the Lounge Parvi before the performance
Our dinner menus will beautifully complement your night at the opera or ballet. Starting at 5 p.m. on the selected performance days, the dinner is served in the Lounge Parvi.
The menus offered before opera performances, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Autumn Sonata, Winter Story, and The Rite of Spring are themed according to the seasons, showcasing the best seasonal ingredients. The starters are enjoyed from a buffet, while the main course and the dessert are served as plated dishes. A cheerful Pas de tapas menu is served before ballet performances. It is a combination of timeless favorites and the best seasonal flavors. Pas de tapas is laid out as a buffet. On New Year’s Eve, December 31st, we serve a festive three course New Year’s Eve menu. The New Year’s Eve menu is sold out.
We accommodate special dietary requirements as per advance notifications. The price of the dinner menu includes ice water. Other beverages can be purchased on-site. You can also order a wine tasting tailored to the season and dinner menu to be enjoyed before the dinner.
Groups (of 15 or more) can also order the dinner menus for other performance dates by contacting the Opera Restaurant via email: ravintola.oopperabaletti[at]restel.fi.
We reserve the right to make changes. Dinner menus do not include tickets to the evening’s performance.

Ordering the dinner menus is easy in our online store. Start by choosing the date, performance, and the size of your party. Then select Evening Pre Show. Dinner menus for performances in spring 2026 will be on sale 7 Oct at 12 a.m.

The wine tasting to be enjoyed before dinner includes 4 different wines in tasting portions and a brief introduction. During the tasting, seasonal red, white, or sparkling wines are sampled according to the season and paired with the dinner menu.
The wine tasting lasts 30 minutes and starts at 4:30 p.m. (on Saturday 13.12, the wine tasting exceptionally starts at 4 p.m.).

Opera and Ballet dinner menus and wine tastings can be purchased via the Opera and Ballet’s online store, box office, telephone service as well as the Opera&Ballet mobile app. Menus and wine tastings must be ordered no later than 48 hours (two days) before the performance. Menus and tastings do not include tickets to the evening’s performance.
If you are unable to attend, you can cancel your dinner menu or wine tasting in our online store or by
calling our customer service or via email no later than 48 hours (two days) before the show. The value of your cancelled refreshments will be refunded for credit to your customer account. Service and delivery fees are non-refundable. If you cancel later than this, you will receive a 50% refund. Orders cancelled later than 24 hours before the performance will not be refunded.
