Pulse: Hegoak – At the heart of the work
Meaning wings in Basque, Hegoak draws on the myth of Icarus to explore identity, heritage and aspiration – what we carry with us and what we move towards. In this video, choreographer Larkin Poynton Olabarria and dancer Heidi Salminen discuss the central themes of Hegoak and share insights into the rehearsal process.
Hegoak is one of three new contemporary dance works featured in Pulse.
