An evening at the opera or the ballet is an experience for all the senses. The services of the Opera Restaurant are available before performances and in the interval. Delicious local food and organic produce, stylish settings and carefully chosen products will make your evening complete.
For extra convenience, you can order your refreshments in advance from our online store. We will email your table number and location to the address linked to your user account, no later than few hours before the performance. Online sales end no later than 24 hours before the performance. Please note that we cannot guarantee a specific table for orders made via the online store. We may also seat several parties at the same table. You may be assigned a bar height table for enjoying refreshments standing up.
Refreshments can also be ordered by telephone or through the FNOB Customer Service. For Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday performances, orders can be made by telephone and in person until 4pm on the day before the performance. For Monday, Saturday and Sunday performances the telephone and Customer Service sales end at 4pm on the last working day before the performance. A charge of €5 applies to each order made by telephone. Please note that the cost of orders made by telephone will be charged to your credit card during the call.
Enquiries about table availability for same day performances can be made one hour before the start of the performance at the Customer Service at the Töölönlahti entrance of the Opera House. Please note that tables are often reserved well in advance, particularly for premieres and matinees.
The doors of the Opera House and the wine lounge of the Main Foyer open 1.5 hours before the performance. Early opening for groups can be arranged upon request. Pre-performance refreshments will be laid out one hour before the start of the performance. Other refreshments sales will also open one hour before the performance.
