Locally sourced raw materials

The Opera Restaurant prefers Finnish local food and organic produce. Kanresta grow their own carrots and red beets. And few people know that the honey used on the roasted almonds and other delicacies produced by the Opera Restaurant comes from beehives at the Opera House itself.

This season has produced a full-bodied honey with hints of toffee that shows the taste of five-leaved ivy and linden, both of which grow abundantly around Töölönlahti bay.
