Festive season is here

Our sparkling holiday season repertoire is set to cover the entire Töölönlahti bay in stardust. Basking in the spotlight centre stage, we have the brand-new ballet spectacle Land of Kalevala. It’s time to get carried away by the Christmas party atmosphere and end the year with cheer and celebration.  Are you ready for it? Let’s go!

Land of Kalevala

Kenneth Greve’s blockbuster of a ballet spectacle is simultaneously a hymn of gratitude, an ode of praise and a playful rap on the knuckles to the Finnish nation.

Moomin and the Magician’s Hat

A strange top hat and a giant ruby appear in Moomin Valley, with bizarre consequences. The new Moomin ballet, suitable for the whole family, recently charmed viewers on tour in Japan. It has now come home to the Almi Hall of the Finnish National Ballet.

Finland celebrates!

Finland’s centenary will be a cause for joyful celebration at the Finnish National Opera. Finland celebrates! is an evening of musical fireworks by Jere Erkkilä, the director of CircOpera, in which Finnish star soloists Camilla Nylund, Tommi Hakala and Mika Pohjonen perform iconic songs from their country’s top composers.
