Opera & Ballet in Action
Taking opera and ballet into your own hands
In Opera & Ballet in Action workshops, 5 to 6 years olds can experience the fascinating world of opera and ballet. Participants learn about a selected Main Stage production through hands-on activities, such as arts and crafts, making music, dancing, and drama. In addition to learning about different art forms, the children get to make a nice souvenir to take home (excluding costume and set workshops). The workshops last approximately 1.5 hours and are held in Finnish.
Workshops for daycare groups
We offer pre-school groups the opportunity to participate in Opera & Ballet in Action workshops for free. Advance enrolment is mandatory. Workshops in spring 2023 are inspired by ballet Carmen.
Enrolment for daycare groups for spring 2023 will begin 22 Nov at 9 a.m. Enrol here (in Finnish).
