Night of the Arts at the Finnish National Opera and Ballet has a full and varied program for opera and ballet lovers. The beloved flea market makes a comeback, with enchanting finds from costume and prop departments of the Finnish National Opera and Ballet. As twilight descends, in the outdoor amphitheater, it is possible to watch recorded performances of Swan Lake and Das Rheingold.
As an exclusive Night of the Arts offer, you can enjoy the best seats in the stalls for Sleeping Beauty, the beloved ballet for everyone aged 5 and up, at a 30% discount (prices start from €60/30). Opera lovers will have the chance to see the captivating Salome from the best seats in the stalls for just €59 (standard price €92–102). Please note that Salome is suitable for ages 16 and above. 5 p.m. flea market opens outside the Opera house on the Töölönlahti side
6 p.m. recording of Swan Lake in the outdoor amphitheater, total duration 1 H 50 min.
8 p.m. recording of Das Rheingold in the outdoor amphitheater, total duration 2 H 20 min.
The service cart of the Opera restaurant offers small snacks and refreshments for purchase starting from 4 p.m.
The Opera Shop and customer service will be open until 10 p.m. with special offers in store for tickets to this autumn’s performances. Welcome!

How to buy the discounted tickets
- The offer is valid until Saturday 17 August at 11:59 p.m.
- Choose the performance from the list below. The offer does not apply to other performances.
- Select your seats in the auditorium in price category B (blue seats).
- Sleeping Beauty: please select Standard Ticket, Pensioner, Student/Conscript, or Youth Discount 20 Years or Under as the ticket type. Add the tickets to your shopping basket and continue to payment.
- Salome: please select Standard Ticket as the ticket type and continue to payment.
- Enter the code TAIDE24 in the Do you have a promo code or a gift voucher? field.
