Opera that’s young at heart
The In the Limelight music theatre group for 12–16-year-olds meets at the Opera House every Thursday from 4pm to 7pm. Every year, the group has free reign to create and produce a music theatre performance after their own heart, in co-operation with seasoned professionals.
This year, the In the Limelight group of the National Opera has put their creativity to work on the themes of the new opera by Iiro Rantala, Sanatorio Express. The performance will premiere at the Almi Hall of the Finnish National Opera on 2 May, 2019.
