In August, the Opera House welcomes visitors again after a long period of silence. There is a limited amount of tickets on sale for performances in August and September.
The first premiere of the season, Cavalleria rusticana & Pagliacci on 20 August combines two opera classics revolving around secret love, jealousy, and revenge. At the Finnish National Ballet, the season opens with the fabulous family favourite, Sleeping Beauty, on 21 August.
As per the existing regulations from the authorities, two-metre safe distancing is ensured at the performances of Cavalleria rusticana & Pagliacci on 20, 24 and 26 August as well as Sleeping Beauty on 21 and 25 August. If you have tickets for these performances, your seat in the auditorium might change. There’s no need to worry, however, as we will soon be in touch with you directly.
